Andrea Smith, PT, MPT
/Andrea Smith received her Master’s degree in Physical therapy from UNM in 2004. She knew she wanted to be a physical therapist when she was recovering from an ACL reconstruction due to a highschool soccer injury. Her physical therapist not only helped her return to soccer/sport, but was a motivator during a very difficult time. In having been on the patient end, she realizes just how important this is.
Andrea has had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of settings in physical therapy including home health, rehab, hospital and outpatient clinics. She enjoys working with all ages and activity levels and with her experience as a pelvic health physical therapist can also address pelvic pain and incontinence issues.
Andrea loves spending time with her family and friends. She has a husband and two daughters she loves adventuring/traveling with. For fun, she mountain bikes, hikes, enjoys skiing and is quite happy spending time in the mountains.
