Johnathan Candelaria, PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Johnathan Candelaria, PT, DPT, OCS graduated in 2019 from the University of New Mexico with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduation, He pursued a year-long orthopedic residency with Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania. Johnathan passed his orthopedic specialist certification (OCS) in June 2021 and is currently pursuing a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy through Regis University. Johnathan also became certified in June 2021 for Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore.

Johnathan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), including the New Mexico chapter and the orthopedic section. As a physical therapist, Johnathan strives to restore, optimize and enhance function through education movement and manual therapy.

In Johnathan’s free time, He enjoys exploring the outdoors, mountain/road biking, running, strength training and skiing. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Johnathan was a ski instructor in Durango Colorado. He also enjoys playing the piano with his band and brother.
